Another successful Alumni Fund Telephone Fundraising campaign has come to a close. The 2014-2015 campaign, which began in November of last year, ended on March 6th after raising an amazing £130,000 for people, projects and partnerships.
We would like to thank all alumni who kindly gave their time and so generously donated money to the campaign. We are extremely grateful for your support. Alumni donations are vital to ensure that the School is able to continue improving health worldwide.
We would also like to thank our student callers who spoke with thousands of alumni; without our callers this campaign would not have been possible. School Director Peter Piot met with student callers on the last day of the campaign to thank them for their time and commitment. You can see photos on our Flickr page.
The telephone fundraising campaign may have ended, but it is possible to donate to the Alumni Fund at any time. Money donated helps fund scholarships and research grants and goes towards the School’s world-class centres such as the Malaria Centre, the TB Centre and the Centre for Maternal, Adolescent, Reproductive and Child Health. Find out how to donate here.
