Thank you for your interest in this year’s telephone campaign at LSHTM. We have been running telephone campaigns for about seven years and they are always a great way for students to network with alumni and to improve their communication skills, as well as raise money for the LSHTM Fund, which supports scholarships at the School.
This year, we will be running two separate campaigns; in December and in February. The December campaign will focus on contacting our alumni in North America and we will only be making calls at the weekends. In the February campaign, we will speak to alumni all over the world, and calling will take place each day throughout the four weeks
Ideally, we would like callers to work on both campaigns but we will need additional callers for the second campaign. This application form is for both campaigns. There is no need to apply twice.
The dates for the campaigns are:
December 2/3 and 9/10 2017, with training on December 1 (evening) and December 2 (morning)
January 29 – 22 February 2018, with training 27-28 January (day time).
The rate of pay is £10 an hour. Training days will be paid as a reliability bonus at the end of the campaign. You can apply below.
