The team behind ‘Good Health at Low Cost 25 years on’ will be well represented at the Second Global Symposium on Health Systems Research which is taking place in Beijing from 31 October to 3 November 2012.  Two of the three documentaries produced will be presented at sessions during the Symposium; from Bangladesh “Health transcends poverty: the Bangladesh Experience” and Ethiopia “Placing health at the centre of development”.  More information can be found at [http://www.hsr-symposium.org/images/stories/downloads/20120810001.pdf].

In addition, our country representatives Professor Viroj Tangcharoensathien (Thailand) and Dr. Hailom Banteyerga (Ethiopia) will all be presenting this and other research and we are looking forward to exciting discussions. Editors Professor Martin McKee (Chair) and Dr Dina Balabanova will also be present to talk about some of the issues and experiences of the study.

The Global Health Symposium also has a Facebook page where the documentaries are currently available to view and download: [https://www.facebook.com/HsrSymposium]
