1 More Day to: VOTE for ICEH’s Dr. Andrew Bastawrous as the Mazda Rebels with a Cause competition!

Dr. Andrew Bastawrous was selected as one of four TED fellows for the Mazda Rebels with a Cause competition. There are four nominees in total and an open voting system which closes on the 15th October. Andrew is currently in second place and needs more votes! The prize for the winner is EUR100,000 and Andrew plans to put these funds towards ensuring Peek is made available to as many people as possible as soon as possible, to support the eye hospital in Kenya that Andrew worked with whilst living there and towards a social enterprise bakery in Kenya, which will provide employment to vulnerable adults and profits will be used to subsidise eye care in the region.
