Group celebrates 40 years of research on improving health in the developing world

From studies evaluating HIV prevention and treatment strategies to randomised trials of new drugs against neglected tropical diseases, a 40-year-old research group based at the School has been working hard to improve the health of people in developing countries. Launching its 40th birthday celebrations, the Tropical Epidemiology Group has recently published its biennial report which highlights the wide variety of work its members have been involved in throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America in 2009-10.  Read more
