The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine will be holding a half-day workshop on new and evolving practices for data capture in health research on the afternoon of November 20th, 2015.
The session will bring together researchers from a range of health-related disciplines to discuss the diverse data collection methods available, tools and techniques that may be applied, and challenges that must be addressed when applying them in practice.
The session will focus upon three areas:
- Data collection using mobile devices
- Crowdsourcing as a method of obtaining participant information
- How generic web-based services may be used to enhance research
