Bricks and Mortarboards: a new Alumni Fund campaign

The School’s Alumni Fund is an annual fundraising campaign generously supported by our wonderful alumni. Since 2011, the campaign has raised over £500,000 for School scholarships, teaching and research, helping the School to deliver its mission to improve health worldwide.

Gifts to the Alumni Fund this year will support our “Bricks and Mortarboards” appeal.

Why donate to the Alumni Fund?

Bricks: The School needs new research and teaching facilities in order to conduct cutting-edge research which will find innovative solutions to the most important global challenges in infectious diseases.

Mortarboards: Students with the talent and commitment to become the health leaders of tomorrow should be given the opportunity to realise their potential, regardless of their background or financial status. Gifts to the School’s scholarship fund ensures that we can continue to educate future public health leaders.

Scholarship recipient Bismark Dinko explains how his studies at the School “positioned me among a tropical and public health network of scientists working together to find solutions to health problems affecting the globe. By contributing towards the Alumni Fund, you directly contribute towards the work and strength of this network.”

Matching donations

We’re pleased to announce that a group of alumni have generously chosen to match donations made by alumni on a one-to-one basis – meaning gifts will go even further.
