The Education UK Alumni Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of alumni and showcase the impact and value of a UK higher education. Award winners and finalists are leaders in their fields who have used their experience of studying at a UK university to make a positive contribution to their communities, professions and countries.
The three award categories are the Professional Achievement Award, the Entrepreneurial Award and the Social Impact Award.
We are very proud to have had alumni win the Social Impact Award two years in a row.
Dr Rajesh Babu won the Social Impact Award in 2015 for his contribution to eye health and public health in India.
Dr Patricia Mechael won the Social Impact Award in 2016 for her research on mobile phones in health.
The benefits of applying or being nominated for an Alumni Award are far reaching. You will raise your profile, extend your professional networks, and share your success with the world.
If you, or someone you know, studied at the School and went on to achieve exceptional success, get ready to apply or nominate from 7 September 2016. Nominations close 16 October 2016; applications on 31 October 2016. For more details on eligibility requirements, how to nominate or how to enter, visit the Education UK Awards website.
