Fellows on the inaugural Executive Programme for Global Health Leadership programme met with LSHTM alumni recently during their residential week in Geneva. The event was a great addition to the week, hosted by our partners at the Graduate Institute Geneva, which saw Fellows meeting with high-level leaders such as Peter Graaff, Director of the Global Initiatives for the health emergency programme at WHO and Seth Berkely, CEO at GAVI. The focus of the week was on negotiation and the global health diplomacy skills needed for operating on the global stage.
The Fellows commented that the week was “a great transformational experience” with “highly relevant” speakers. The next residential week will be in Cape Town which will focus on systems leadership.
