Inspiring alumnus, Enas Newire, was recently featured in an article in the Independent highlighting the surge in popularity of taking a degree by Distance Learning at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Taking the Msc Infectious Diseases by Distance learning allowed Enas to gain invaluable experience in a lab whist gaining a highly accredited qualification (not to mention getting married and having a baby at the same time). This combination gave her the edge over other candidates when applying for funding for her PhD at UCL, which she is currently pursuing. Read more
