Patricia Mechael, who completed her PhD at LSHTM in 2006 on the health-related uses of mobile phones in Egypt, recently published a co-edited volume with Jonathan Donner from Microsoft Research entitled: *mHealth in Practice: Mobile technology for health promotion in the Developing World*.
