The course provides eye health professionals with the public health knowledge and skills required to reduce blindness and visual disability in their population.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/masters\/mscphec.html\">Find out more about the Masters in Public Health for Eye Care<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Scholarship details<a id=\"insert-media-button\" class=\"button insert-media add_media\" title=\"Add Media\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.lshtm.ac.uk\/iceh-new\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=2069&amp;action=edit&amp;message=1#\"> Add Media<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Several scholarships are made available each year. \u00a0Each scholarship covers course fees, two return flights and a stipend to cover accommodation costs \u00a0and living expenses.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<p>You must come from a low- or middle-income Commonwealth country to apply.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.lshtm.ac.uk\/cehc\/files\/2014\/02\/Eligibility-criteria-for-MSc-PHEC-Scholarships.pdf\">Eligibility criteria for MSc PHEC Scholarships<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>APPLY NOW<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong>\u00a0Apply to the London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine for a place on the course:<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>For new applicants<\/strong>: LSHTM online application systemis open for the 2015\/16 academic year now. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/applications\/index.html\">Apply here<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>For those who have been accepted from 2014\/15<\/strong>: if you have applied and been accepted to the 2014\/15 academic year you must request to &#8220;be reconsidered&#8221; for the 2015\/16 academic year.
