This year Open Society Foundations (OSF) is co-sponsoring a number of these Chevening Partnership Scholarships for applicants who wish to study at the London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>We are offering up to 10 co-funded Partnership Scholarships for 2016-17. These particular scholarships are being offered in addition to the general scheme (Main Award) Chevening Scholarships. The top ten successful candidates will be offered a Partnership Scholarship and all other successful candidates will receive a Chevening Scholarship through the main award programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Award details<br \/>\n<\/strong>Chevening-OSF-LSHTM Partnership Scholarships cover full tuition fees for your chosen course at LSHTM (country fee caps do not apply) and the same allowance and stipend package as a standard general scheme <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/52.18.156.85\/scholars\">Chevening Award<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As a Chevening-OSF-LSHTM Partnership Scholarship recipient, you will stand to benefit from an expanding suite of unique networking and engagement opportunities offered by Chevening Partners.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, applying for a Partnership Scholarship will increase your chances of being considered for a general scheme Chevening Scholarship at LSHTM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong>Applicants for 2016-17 Chevening-OSF-LSHTM Scholarships must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set out by all partners.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should read the application guidance set out on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chevening.org\/chevening\/application-guidance\"><strong>Chevening<\/strong><\/a> and partners\u2019 websites and be able to demonstrate that they meet the selection criteria before submitting any applications.<\/p>\n<p>The Partnership Scholarships are available to citizens from the following countries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Azerbaijan<\/li>\n<li>Belarus<\/li>\n<li>Cambodia<\/li>\n<li>Democratic Republic of Congo<\/li>\n<li>Egypt<\/li>\n<li>Equatorial Guinea<\/li>\n<li>Eritrea<\/li>\n<li>Ethiopia<\/li>\n<li>Laos<\/li>\n<li>Libya<\/li>\n<li>Republic of Congo<\/li>\n<li>South Sudan<\/li>\n<li>Sudan<\/li>\n<li>Syria<\/li>\n<li>Turkmenistan<\/li>\n<li>Uzbekistan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Choice<br \/>\n<\/strong>Scholarships are available for one-year taught <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/masters\/index.html\"><strong>Masters degree<\/strong><\/a> offered at the London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine. The eligible courses are limited to LSHTM London-based courses (not distance learning) and to courses administered by LSHTM (not MSc Global Mental Health, MSc One Health, or MSc Veterinary Epidemiology).<\/p>\n<p>Under the Chevening-OSF-LSHTM Partnership agreement applicants can choose any London-based course of study but priority will be given to applicants whose course of study will include a focus on human rights, post-conflict studies, sustainable development, community development, public health and\/or health policy.<\/p>\n<p>The full list of one-year taught Masters degrees offered at the School can be found on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/index.html\"><strong>Study<\/strong><\/a> section of our website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply for a Chevening-OSF-LSHTM Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants wishing to apply for these Partnership Scholarships must complete each step of the application process set out below, following the deadlines stated.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, applicants should read the guidelines and requirements for each partner and then<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>submit a complete Open Society Foundations <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/grants\/civil-society-leadership-award-20150713\"><strong>Civil Society Leadership Awards<\/strong><\/a> application form to OSF by <strong>15 September 2015<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>submit a complete <a href=\"http:\/\/52.18.156.85\/apply\"><strong>Chevening Scholarships application<\/strong><\/a> online by <strong>3 November 2015<\/strong>, selecting LSHTM as your first preference; and<\/li>\n<li>submit a complete <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/applications\/index.html\"><strong>LSHTM study application<\/strong><\/a> for their chosen course\/s. The online application system will be open for 2016-17 applications from November 2015 onwards.
