This is a public engagement activity which our 2013\/14 Alumna, Nyawira Mwangi (current CEHC Research Fellow) coordinated. The theme was on diabetes, which is also the subject of her PhD research.<\/p>\n

This was a three tier event, as it was composed of three sub-events:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A sensitization walk, to sensitize the public on diabetes<\/li>\n
  2. Free screening for the public for diabetes and its complications<\/li>\n
  3. An academic symposium on diabetes, open to academic and non-academic participants<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
