The course provides eye health professionals with the public health knowledge and skills required to reduce blindness and visual disability in their population.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/masters\/mscphec.html\">Find out more about the Masters in Public Health for Eye Care<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Scholarship details<\/h3>\n<p>Several scholarships are awarded each year. \u00a0Each scholarship covers the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>all course fees<\/li>\n<li>two return flights<\/li>\n<li>dissertation project fund<\/li>\n<li>living costs<\/li>\n<li>accommodation with food at the International Students House in Central London. <a href=\"https:\/\/ish.org.uk\/\">Find out more about the International Students House<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<p>You must come from a low- or middle-income Commonwealth country to apply.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.lshtm.ac.uk\/iceh-new\/files\/2017\/11\/Eligibility-criteria-for-Masters-Scholarships.pdf\">Eligibility criteria for MSc PHEC Scholarships<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>APPLY NOW<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong>\u00a0Apply to the London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine for a place on the course:<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>For new applicants<\/strong>: LSHTM online application system is open for the 2018\/19 academic year now. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/masters\/public-health-eye-care#how-to-apply\">Apply here<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>For those who have been accepted from 2017\/18<\/strong>: if you applied and were accepted to the 2017\/18 academic year you must have requested to \u201c<em><strong>be deferred<\/strong><\/em>\u201d for the 2018\/19 academic year.
