It reinforces the School&#8217;s commitment to better communicating research findings to a wider audience, as well as it&#8217;s broader commitment to Open Research.<\/p>\n<p>The key points are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Researchers are responsible for ensuring that all\u00a0research papers are made available in open access\u00a0form\u200b, either via the green or gold route to open access.<\/li>\n<li>Authors should check prior to submission that the journal&#8217;s open access policies are in line with funders&#8217; and REF open access policies.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sherpa.ac.uk\/romeo\/index.php\">SHERPA\/RoMEO<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sherpa.ac.uk\/fact\/\">SHERPA\/FACT<\/a>\u00a0can be used to check journal open access policies and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>All research\u00a0publications should\u00a0clearly acknowledge funding source(s) and grant\/programme number(s).<\/li>\n<li>All researchers are strongly encouraged to use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/orcid.org\/\">ORCID<\/a>\u00a0IDs in their publications.<\/li>\n<li>The Library &amp; Archives Service\u00a0manages open access\u00a0funds, available on application, for eligible\u00a0RCUK and COAF-funded authors.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lshtm.sharepoint.com\/Research\/Research-data-management\/\">Research data<\/a> produced and\/or used during research must be cited in research outputs, an an access statement should be included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions related to the Open Access Publishing Policy should be directed to the Research Publications Team within the Library &amp;
