We look forward to supporting you in your studies this year.<\/p>\n<p>There is a lot of information for new arrivals to take in during orientation week.\u00a0 When you have time, come along to the Library when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/research\/library-archives-service\/visiting-library\">we are open\u00a0<\/a>\u2013 the staff here will be happy to help you with anything related to our\u00a0study facilities, information resources\u00a0and\u00a0information skills training.<\/p>\n<p>To help you get started, please\u00a0attend our\u00a0<strong>induction session in week 1: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Library Induction: using the Library, finding and accessing resources<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mon 30<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 Friday 4<sup>th<\/sup> October<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1:00pm-2:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The session will give you an introduction to the Library, help you understand your reading list, and ensure you&#8217;re ready to find and access books, journals, articles and databases at LSHTM.<\/p>\n<p>It is aimed at Masters-level students, but anybody is welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p>The class is held in the <strong>Barnard Room <\/strong>which is<strong> inside the Library<\/strong>, and is offered twice a day Monday-Friday at 1:00pm and 5:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>You need only attend once, so choose whichever session is most convenient for you and book your place online: <strong>bit.do\/infoskills \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to all our new students!
