One in four adults feel lonely some or all of the time, and the longer people feel lonely the more they are at risk of mental health problems.  The Mental Health Foundation is raising awareness of the impact of loneliness on mental health and suggesting practical steps we can take to address it.<\/p>\n<p>Help and advice are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mentalhealth.org.uk\/campaigns\/mental-health-awareness-week\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mental Health Foundation website<\/a>. Resources can be found by searching in the Library&#8217;s search tool, <a href=\"https:\/\/lshtm.primo.exlibrisgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Discover<\/a>.  Print books on mental health can be found in the Barnard Room, shelf mark UJ.
