The full list of new\/edited terms for 2023 and changes made in previous years, can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/service.elsevier.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/16354\/c\/10547\/supporthub\/embase\/\/#release\">Embase Support Centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Emtree terms work in the same way as MeSH terms but are used in the <a href=\"https:\/\/openathens.ovid.com\/secure-ssl\/home.oa?idpselect=https:\/\/idp.lshtm.ac.uk\/shibboleth&amp;entityID=https:\/\/idp.lshtm.ac.uk\/shibboleth&amp;T=JS&amp;NEWS=n&amp;CSC=Y&amp;PAGE=main&amp;D=emczd\">Embase database<\/a> [LSHTM username and password required]. Embase was originally put together to focus on pharmaceutical information and Emtree still has a strong focus on pharmaceutical terms. However, it covers all of healthcare-related fields.
