Exciting things are happening at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. We’re setting up a Research Data Management support service within the school and I’ve been appointed as project manager to lead its implementation. We’re still in the early stages of the project, so there’s not much here at the moment. However, if you have an interest in Research Data Management, we have a number of interesting activities planned for the coming months (and years). These include:
- Training events on creating, managing, and publishing your data
- Guidance material on data creation, management, and publication that may be consulted when planning and/or implementing your research project
- Drop-in sessions to help you with data management problems
We also have plans to development software tools to assist with data discovery and publication.
We’ll be updating the blog on a regular basis to keep you up to date with progress. If you’re producing research data in the school or wish to comment on the work that we’re doing, feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
