The African Academy of Sciences (The AAS), the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, (BMBF)) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation today announce a transformative partnership to support African investigators to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for health. The announcement was made in Berlin, Germany at the 2018 Grand Challenges Annual Meeting that aims to builds momentum for global health and development innovation and foster scientific collaboration among international groups and researchers.
