NEWS: SPHR@L presents at LSHTM Public Health & Policy Faculty seminar!

On 9th June 2015, the NIHR School for Public Health Research @ LSHTM (SPHR@L) was featured as ‘Research Group of the month’ within the Public Health & Policy (PHP) Faculty seminar series and presented some its current research, as well as a talk on how we build connections, capacity and collaboration through engagement. The latter presentation walked the audience through SPHR@L’s three pronged approach to engagement and how this is implemented in practice:

3 pronged approach to engagement

So much of SPHR@L’s work is heavily grounded in working with others to educate, be enlightened by, co-produce evidence with, and build networks. We have strong connections with colleagues in local government practice across England, the wider NIHR School for Public Health Research member institutions, the third sector, and other research centres across the UK. We constantly seek to nurture and develop these relationships through our research, as well as maintaining robust communication channels within the research team itself and with our host institution at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
