NIHR announcement of renewed School for Public Health membership – 4th April 2017

The LSHTM renewal bid was led by Mark Petticrew, Karen Lock, Steve Cummins, Matt Egan and Richard Smith. The LSHTM team is greatly looking forward to five more years of collaboration with the other SPHR members, developing new opportunities for research that can assist and involve policymakers, practitioners and the public.

As Associate Dean for Research at LSHTM’s Faculty of Public Health and Policy, Professor Kara Hanson states “We are delighted that the NIHR School for Public Health has been renewed for a further five years, and look forward to continued opportunities for LSHTM to contribute to its mission of strengthening UK  public health decision-making, capacity and population health outcomes.”
