Health Economics Course 

Blantyre, November 2017

Prof. Louis Niessen (LSTM) delivered a Health Economics Course at the Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre from 20-24 November 2017. The event was attended by 30 delegates from the AMBITION consortium and also from local professionals interested in developing their understanding of the subject.

The course provided the opportunity to learn about the fundamental principles of Health Economics. Delegates were able to put theory into practice with costing and cost-effectiveness exercises using examples from similar studies to AMBITION. As the week progressed delegates became more confident with these principles and helped develop high-quality data collection tools and costing plans to be used on AMBITION.
