A very warm welcome to all new LSHTM students starting this Autumn.
Thanks to those who were able to attend our in-person induction sessions during the week of 29 September.
During the week beginning 13 October, we’re offering the following Induction sessions via Zoom:
Library Induction: using the Library, finding and accessing resources
(Note: all times BST/UK-time)
Tuesday 14 October – 09:00-10:00
Wednesday 15 October – 13:00-14:00
Friday 17 October – 16:00-17:00
These sessions are designed to help you to you get started using our resources and services straightaway. You only need to attend one of these repeated sessions. The content will give you an introduction to the Library services, help you understand your reading list, and ensure you’re ready to find and access books, journals, articles and databases at LSHTM online.
We ask that you kindly book a place in advance. A Zoom link to the session will be sent to you on the day before the session itself.
How to book on a session:
1. go to the Student Bookings page.
2. Select the session which suits you by clicking on the Course Title.
3. Select “Click here to book a place on this event”.
The Zoom link for the session will also appear on our Library, Archive & Open Research Moodle pages on the day of the session.
This induction is aimed at Masters-level students, but anybody is welcome to attend.
