Starting a research grant at LSHTM – Things you should know for the first year

The Library & Archives Service will be holding a training event for staff wishing to better understand LSHTM processes for setting up a research grant and how they can deal with project management issues. This event will be held on Monday Feb 13, at 2-5pm in the Mary Seacole room at Tavistock Place and is open to all LSHTM staff.

The session will cover the following topics:

  1. Working with Research Operations to setup the project account and deal with contracts
  2. Establishing research governance processes and procedures within your study
  3. Scoping project roles and recruiting staff
  4. Addressing legal & regulatory obligations for data management and information security
  5. Dealing with open access & data sharing obligations for research publications

The session will be attended & presented by representatives from the Research Operations, Human Resources, Research Governance, Open Access, and Research Data Management teams, who will be happy to answer your questions.
